I use this adapter to plug in from my normal 15amp exterior outlet. Easiest way to make sure the batteries are topped off before going camping. - 20220823 152846

trying to get a feel for how I'll lay out the components. On the right is the 2000 watt inverter and 1 of the battle born batteries (I have 2). The left side has the mppt solar controller, lynx distribution bar, and bottom right is the 12volt, 30 amp dc/dc charge controller, and the black box is the ac/dc distribution panel. - 20220803 165051 resized
I'm going to make boxes to help contain/protect the stuff above, and I have the boxes to have mitered (45 degree joints on the corners). as any woodworker will tell you, this is a PITA to do well. Going to try and see how well the Festool track saw does. - 20220803 165054 resized
I did cheat and miter one end with my sliding miter saw, but the miter saw is miserable to try and cut the other bevel at an exact spot. It tends to be trial and error. Just keep trimming a little until i get it right. With the track saw, you can measure and mark the line. simply law the track on the mark and cut - 20220803 165102 resized

boxes are made and now trying to get a feel for how I'll lay things out. boxes are 16" wide, 24" long, and this one is 8.5 " deep with 1.25" inches wasted on the back. 1/2 inch for the back panel and 3/4" more for a mounting board. - 20220806 114721 resized
the small box at top will only be for the battery switch, solar shut off switch and battery monitor.
